Letter .... 4/8/09

Mom,

So here I am sitting in the Referral Center. I really don't like it. Don't know why but I think part of it is i'm calling people I don't know and having to try to get to know them. I would rather ask these questions about them when I am face to face. I think it is because I would rather be able to read the facial expressions. I lvoe going to teaching appointments that we do 2 times a week. Those are fun.

I did finally get a letter from Kyle. It was way funny and made my day. I also have gotten one from Amy & and one from Lacie.

I guess I'm a typical missionary with bad spelling and hurried typing (copied straight from her e-mail). Mom wants to correct it!!

hiya family!!

ok so i finally made it to p day (which is friday) and got my email set up.. i do have to say though i have loved getting letters in the mail. cause it like a supprise every day of the week insted of one day.... but i can somewhat depend on my friends (for) that.. jk.. :) thank you for the package i love the pictures... (and elders mortimer and lemonds think that tae is a cutie) haha

anyway i dont think i will need my i home because there is no point cause i wont be able to use when i get out in the field anyway.. i could use my knee brace and you gonna kill me but i could use about three more pairs of each color of hose. i only brought three to begin with anyway. did i ever get a revenue check for my taxes?

if you could could you google mini pretch my gospel and see how much they are.. on of the elders in my district has one and they are perfect scirpture bag size. and i would really enjoy one if i could get a hold of one.. ;)

i really need the rest of the story behind dads hand! cause he left me hangin on the whole thing! not cool! did you have to call Tandy out there or was she out there just hangin out with the fam? did she tell you about her weekend with ty?

sister bell and i got a really cool letter each from a few of the sisters in our mission.. that said that they are excited that we are going to be in their mission.

i was lookin at picures in the halls of the wilford woodruff building the other day when a picture of the guatamala temple caught my eye... so when i was lookin at all the elders in the picture guess who was in it..... clint lemoux. i thought i was quite funny... i have gotten to see shandi a few times at meal time... and she seems to be fairing better than in did my first few days. i am doind much better for sure.. at first i didnt know if i really wanted to be here or not.. i think i was fighitng the lord on not wanting to change but he has slowly been winning. but i fianlly have it all figured out. so were good.. im still scared to death of the unknow and wahts going to be going on... there are times when it feels like they are feeding you with a fire hose. but its getting easier to take all in. i love you guys!

DEAR FAM,

TO TELL YOU AGAIN SOME OF THE STUFF ABOUT MY FIRST DAY, IT WAS CRAZY. I HAD TO GET TWO SHOTS TETNUS & HEP A. (I DON'T KNOW WHY THE HEP A, BUT THE TETNUS WAS DUE) :( SO WILL YOU CHECK MY ACCOUNT SO I CAN PAY THE $104 THAT LITTLE ADVENTURE COST?

THERE ARE 5 OF US IN A ROOM, 2 OF THE SISTERS ARE GOING TO BOLIVIA & THE OTHER IS GOING TO POLAND. THEN SIS BELL & I ARE GOING TO POCATELLO. SHE IS SO FUNNY & WE GET ALONG WELL. THE CAFETERIA IS OK. I TOLORATE IT.

I HAVE A NOTEBOOK SO NO WORRIES AOUT THAT....THE BOOKSTORE HAS JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING SO I CAN GET AN UMBRELLA.

THANKS FOR SENDING...IT TOTALLY MADE MY DAY. YESTERDAY I WAS FEELING A LITTLE HOME SICK AND YOUR LETTER MADE MY DAY.

THEY CRAM SO MUCH STUFF INTO YOUR DAY THAT MY MIND IS ON OVER LOAD. I DON'T EVER THINK I HAVE BEEN THIS TIRED BEFORE.

YES I WOULD LIKE THE BOYS (HER COUSINS) LETTERS AND WHERE IS LOGAN AT AGAIN?

MOM & DAD, MARCH 25,09
TODAY WAS CRAZY BUT AMAZING. MY COMPANION IS SISTER BELL. SHES FROM SANDY. WE GET ALONG WONDERFULLY. WE ARE BOTH LOUD AND TALK A MILE A MINUET(sp). WE BOTH ARE GOING TO IPM & THE TEMPLE. WE CAN'T WAIT. ITS GOING TO BE HARD BUT AMAZING.
IT WAS REALLY FUNNY DURING AN ORIENTATION. SISTER BELL AND I COULDN'T FIND ANY HANGERS. SO DURING ORIENTATION WE ASKED WHERE WE COULD FIND SOME. IT WAS FUNNY. (didn't say what actually happened)

Our day in Salt Lake

I wanted to ride TRAXX from Sandy to Temple Square...

Dad didn't think

it was a great idea... but it was MY day and I got my WAY!!

We ate lunch in the temple, it was yummy and peaceful... and we even talked to other families with missionaries who were going into the MTC on Wednesday.

I really enjoyed the live session... it helped me understand more about the temple.
