Dinner with Becks

Tuesday, after we went to Salt Lake, we drove down to Salem so Mom and Dad could meet Chelsey's parents. I knew them from the Utah Girl Scout Ranch experience last summer ('08). I spent many weekends with Tammy and Tad while Chelsey worked at Reams Market. The fam got to meet Chelsey when she came home with me in August, after finishing off the summer. We truely enjoyed our visit and mexican food at a Mi' Rancherito in Payson (UT).

LOOKOUT...we're back...but, only for a visit!

SO, we can't go to Utah without goin' to see the good folks of Benson. Our wonderful friends the Henries gave a great party with lots of delicious food and made us feel extra special...thank you so much for your hospitality and going all out for us.

We head to Logan...

Saturday evening Mom, Dad, and I were able to attend a session in the Logan Temple.

My love for the Logan Temple began when I could see it from our house in Benson... it was like a beacon in the night.

Family Trip to Utah...

...AND YES...I REALLY AM DRIVIN' MY DADS SEMI ON I-15 !!!

Yes, my mom is too chicken to drive it:) and Dad is takin' the pix!

Dad had 1/2 a load so he loaded the pickup on the trailer too...it was hilarious when people saw all five of us getting out at the truckstops!

The evening I was set apart.

Nana and Papa stayed with us after my farewell until we left for Utah Friday morning. We had dinner with them and then our Stake President came to our house to set me apart as a missionary.

I guess it's not a farewell, but

Today was the day I spoke in Church and had family and friends over for lunch....

We have the most awesome family and friends! (Some got away before they got their picture taken) Thank you everyone for your help and support, we couldn't have gotten through this day without you.

I took a day trip to Moriarty to meet Kyle because he is working in Texas and had to pick up a horse in New Mexico.
